Good bye GoYuMe
So after just a few short months with GoYuMe they have decided to close their doors and move to Twiske to open a more natural, connected to the earth, sort of treatment center. As I respect their idea it does nothing for the people who live in Amsterdam without a car who were so reliant on their location and services. This disappoints me because they were the only studio in Amsterdam to offer several disciplines of yoga. This being said I have decided to start back at Karunika for all of my old students, and the new ones, to have a weekly place for Jason style no dogma yoga. The wheels are already in motion and I am due to begin on Wednesdays at 18:30 from the first week in March. I will keep you up to date though.

Change is Good!
So as I felt, the time at Karunika has come to an end. Just one more lesson to go and that will be on December 12th. I'm hoping to stay after and have dinner with anyone who may like to join. It's bitter sweet because it has been so long but just in the month since I have been teaching at GoYuMe my lessons there are just busier and more full of life. It was hard to watch Karunika shrink from a steady 10 to a steady 4 over the course of this year but that's just the nature of the beast. I really hope I can encourage all of you who still attend, and who used to as well, to give GoYuMe a try. It's a wonderful space with no dogma and a nice mix of teachers and styles of yoga to practice. I will always be able to be found somewhere.

Did I Say Back In The Groove?
It still hasn't seemed to happen. I was thinking about it and maybe I just don't have the ego to want to share all of my thoughts online. Then it makes me think, do all bloggers have terrible egos and just feel that their words must be heard? Who knows, I guess it all comes down to the individual. This individual doesn't it seems, so if you are unhappy with my random and delayed blog posts just contact me personally. I like that better anyways.
One more thing, for those of you at Club Sportive who are missing me, I'm sorry I just disappeared but the people who work upstairs had me working under a dark cloud of fog and as soon as I saw through their lies and bullshit I had to get out immediately. Though the club has recenlty been bought by Sport City the management is staying the same for now so I will not be returning. You are free to join me on Mondays though and I wish you all the best with your practice there.
And about the big gap in my posts, just another justification was the torando. Most of you know my parents lost their house. Going home for that really took my feet off the ground and I guess this post is a symbol of me starting that root again.
